The principal objective of NetsforLifeŽis to reduce morbidity and mortality from malaria particularly in vulnerable populations (pregnant women, children under 5, the elderly and immuno-compromised).
The original goal - to distribute one million mosquito nets was reached in September 2008 and the new goal is now 5 million nets distributed by the end 2012.
